Nicky DePaola: Class Act

Nicky DePaola - "Class Act"

Vocalist Nicky DePaola steps out in front of a big band on his new CD "Class Act", an album of all standards and jazz tunes done his own way. Born and raised in northern California, growing up in the 70's and playing his mother's Frank Sinatra albums, Nicky D always listened to the way a song was sung.

Since 1985, Nicky has made his living singing those songs he grew up with and developing his own Rat Pack flair - "Music Is My Life". In college, he sang the National Athem at an Oakland A's game, and after that he knew singing in front of an audience was what he wanted to do.

"Class Act" is Nicky's second CD for Rhombus Records. His first album,
"A Song In My Heart" was released in 2000 and climbed high on the Adult Contemporary charts. It received numerous reviews and acclaim.

"Class Act" is vintage Nicky D. With a big band sound and classic phrasing, you can truly hear this cat is a Sinatra student. Nicky is hoping "The Best Is Yet To Come".
